Leavenworth, WA October 1-3, 2010

So yet again I didn't take very many pictures of a trip we took. I only took some at the restaurant that we went to the first night and like two in the festival. These first pictures are at King Ludwigs (I think). Brielle and Tripp were having a great time together.  They loved that there was live music so they could be as loud as they wanted to be.
I'm not really sure why but they wanted to show us their bellies and they are pretty cute little bellies if I do say so myself!
Brielle insisted on having this HUGE fork and like a half a chicken on her plate.  It entertained her for awhile and was pretty funny. Oh and that cute little baby I'm holding is my newest nephew, Deklan :)

Brielle's cousin Tripp and Uncle Randy
They were so cute bustin' their moves to the polka music! Everyone in the restaurant loved them :)
This is one of the bands at the festival, The Polkatones.  They were pretty entertaining, well so were all the drunk people trying to dance to their music.

The Rest of our Summer

This is Brielle's super cute 4th of July dress that my aunt Linnea bought her.

This is my house after I got all my flowers planted, they looked so good. I wish I would have taken more pictures of my flowers a few weeks ago because they grew to fill up the beds.  This front corner bed is now overflowing with wave petunias. I will definitely be buying those flowers again.
These are my lilies, my very favorite flower, they are just gorgeous right?!
We also got to go on Nate's parents boat a lot this summer.  We love boating, especially when we're in Palisades because it means we're staying at the cabin.

Nate and I took a weekend trip to Las Vegas with his friend Justin and his wife Naomi. I only took three pictures and this is the only one with us in it.  This is us at the M&M store, we bought Brielle the cutest rolling M&M back pack and she loves it.  We also went to Lance Burton's magic show, it was pretty amazing and frustrating at the same time because the whole time I was thinking "how the heck did he do THAT." So it was pretty cool.
This is what happens when you buy markers and leave the bag they're in on the floor where your 18 month old can find them.
I let Brielle help me wash my car. She had a blast and got soaking wet. She loved it so much that every time I made her stop washing a side, so I could rinse and dry, she would throw a fit. It was pretty cute, I hope she retains this love of washing cars because I can see "wash the car" as one of her chores in the future.

My mom asked us if we could pick her up from the Boise airport around the beginning of August, if I remember right. So we decided to make a trip of it. We took my cousins Camdon and Ellie and went to the stayed in a hotel and went to the water park. The evening we got there we asked Cam and Ellie if they would babysit so we could walk over and eat at Joe's Crab Shack. Nate and I love crab and Nate had never been to Joe's so we HAD to go and it was delicious! This is us before our food arrived, we were definitely ready, bibs and all : ).
We also went to the cabin quite a few weekends this summer. We love it there, it is so beautiful! This is Brielle sitting on the steps by the fire pit.

Zelda Maebe

Brielle and I brought Zelda home with us from Colorado so Zayna could have a little break.  Zelda is a very rambunctious little girl and kept escaping out of their apartment and so far the neighbors have called the cops on them, I think, three times because Zelda was outside unsupervised. They had tried everything to keep her in and nothing worked, they told her strangers would steal her and hurt and she didn't really care. So I took her home with me so she could run around in my yard for awhile.  I also took on the task of potty training her and it went very well. She was well trained by the time Zayna came to visit and pick her up. Brielle really enjoyed having a sister to play with, she really needs a little brother or sister : ).  I enjoyed having a little girl that had long enough hair to do fun hairdos. I did all kinds of things with her hair and they were all super cute so I can't wait until Brielle's hair is longer.
While she was here my aunt invited her over to help make some cookies.
In case you're thinking I misspelled the title, I did it on purpose.  When Zayna was pregnant with Zelda my Grandma LeFevre asked her what she was going to name the baby and she said "Zelda, maybe." Then she was born and she named her Zelda Mae, and now my grandma calls her Zelda Maybe. I just replaced the y with an e because that is how her name is spelled.

Bear World

While Zayna was here we went to Bear World with my mom and Taryn.  The kids loved seeing the animals and loved riding the kiddie rides even more.  As we drove through anytime Brielle would see anything furry she would yell out "Puppy!" The deer and elk were puppies along with the bears and bison.

Colorado Trip

Brielle and I flew to Colorado Springs to visit Zayna in June. It was my first time ever in Colorado. We had a lot of fun we went to some fun parks to let the kids play, the zoo, the Garden of the Gods, and got to go out one night thanks to Steve's nephew, Jon, babysitting the kids. I only got pictures of the zoo and the Garden of the Gods and a few of Zelda and Asher all dressed up for church but I didn't post the last ones. The zoo was huge and on a mountain so basically everywhere we went was an uphill climb until we headed back to the car. Just googled it and its called The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The admission to the zoo includes access to the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun, which was quite amazing. We drove up to the top of the mountain then got to go in this building.
This is a picture I copied from the zoo's website of the Shrine because I don't remember but I'm guessing my camera was dead yet again because I don't have any pictures of it.

Brielle loved the monkeys, especially this adorable baby chimp!

One day we were there we went to "The Garden of the Gods" its a state park I think with all of these amazing rock formations. They are so big! I don't really think the pictures can do it justice. As you can see it was really bright, but what you can't see is that it was extremely hot! We doused the kids heads with water more than a few times so they wouldn't get too hot. I was amazed how fast they would get dry and really hot again.
The whole gang well minus me and Zayna.
